MDSM – Getting Kinect-ed
The next Microsoft Developers of Southwest Michigan user’s group meeting is Tuesday, September 20, featuring yours truly. I’ll be walking through the Kinect target-tracking application that my colleagues at Biggs put together over several weeks. Check out the meeting details page, and send us an email at Contact@DevMI.com to let us know you’re coming.
Hope to see you there!
Setting the Bar too high
Up until this morning, I had been planning to attend the Grand Rapids Bar Camp tomorrow night and Saturday. With a good deal of regret, I’ve decided to skip it. I have two projects with similar un-budge-able deadlines, and neither is quite finished. I will just have to try again next year.
Grand Rapids BarCamp
Join me at the 5th Annual Grand Rapids Bar Camp, August 18-19, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Provided I can generate enough interest in it (read the rules of BarCamp), I’ll be giving my talk “Start a Project Focused on Deployment”. Hope to see you there!
How to start a new project – redux
I made a decision about a month ago to get back into speaking – not just at MDSM, but at other user groups and regional events. To kick things off, I’m expanding a blog post I made back in March titled “How to start a project” into a presentation. My first delivery will be at the June 24 MDSM meeting, here in Kalamazoo.
Please see the meeting post for RSVP instructions, and I hope to see you there!
